Lindsay's journey in the world of fashion and textiles began during her teenage years and continued into her twenties, fueled by an unwavering passion for creativity and craftsmanship. As she honed her skills, she embarked on a captivating exploration of transforming the old into the new, breathing life into forgotten garments, utilizing remnants to craft exquisite quilts, and weaving scraps into intricate homewares.

Throughout her artistic odyssey, Lindsay became increasingly aware of the detrimental impact that global clothing production was inflicting upon our precious planet. This realization ignited a profound desire to make a difference. Thus, in the year 2023, Stitch & Style Works was born, and based in Chelsea, the vibrant heart of London and the enchanting landscapes of South Downs and Brighton.

At Stitch & Style Works, we are dedicated to preserving the beauty of fashion and textiles while also safeguarding our environment. Our range of services reflects our commitment to both timeless style and sustainability.

Slow Fashion encourages consumers to buy less and choose higher quality items that will last longer.

The range includes Eco-friendly materials that have a lower environmental impact. It may cost more initially, but organic cotton is grown and processed using fewer chemicals and less water.

Lindsay also incorporates upcycling and repurposing into the range. This reduces waste and extends the lifespan of garments and notions. For instance, using buttons from old shirts onto trendy blouses, adding deadstock lace as embellishments or using patchwork to create unique dresses.
