With 20 years of stitching experience, I can help you design and create a truly unique gift that is guaranteed to raise a Smile.

I am a stitching addict and there are two main reasons why.

The first is the 'buzz' I feel, which is a little tricky to explain, but I'll give it a go.

Have you ever found a brilliant present for someone?

Were you super excited about giving it to them?

That kind of sums up the 'buzz' feeling I get when I stitch, even if it's a gift for someone I don't even know.

I love the smiles on the faces of friends and family when I gift them a handmade design, it's a truly lovely thing.

And I've had 20 years of doing this, it's been that long! I've gifted things that are now considered, in my family and others, to be heirlooms. I think that's pretty cool!

When I was a little kid, one of our family heirlooms hung on my bedroom wall. I would drop off to sleep each night looking at the intricate embroidery full of cross stitch, french knots, running stitch, and even a bit of applique here and there.

The subjects were ten little children each from a different country in the world. And who had designed and stitched this detailed cultural sampler? My lovely little Great Aunt who never stepped a foot out of the Welsh Valleys.

She was a stitching addict too!

So that picture is really the second reason I love stitching, the fascination of creating a picture out of just a few stitches! It was my inspiration to get started.

Now I love this very special craft and anything to do with it. Don't even get me started on the Bayeux Tapestry, you would be reading on and on for ages!
