I breathe new life into a second hand item.

I WAS BORN in the West Midlands but when I was just eight years old we moved to Cornwall, where I lived for 21 years before relocating with my family to Dorset.

I have always been creative, working for many years as a self-employed artist, exhibiting my work locally.

Last year I decided I wanted a change of direction… and after much research and consideration I decided to venture into the world of upcycling.

Much of my time since then has been spent perfecting my painting, decoupaging and waxing techniques, I have produced many things, tweaking and developing my ideas as I go along.

Everything I produce has to have a second-hand element, whether it’s jars, game boards or maps. I source all my materials from car boot sales, jumble sales, charity shops and ebay. It’s amazing the things you can find if you look hard enough.
