My passion lies in beach combing —scouring the coastlines for raw, authentic treasures that the ocean has smoothed, tumbled, and washed ashore. From frosted sea glass and textured beach stones to weathered fragments of driftwood, no two finds are ever the exact same, but I love them all!
At Saltwashed & Shaped, I transform the ocean’s forgotten treasures into wearable art and trinkets to treasure. Each piece is handcrafted using genuine sea glass, beach stones, and driftwood that I have gathered from the shoreline. I also create jewellery using semiprecious crystal and gemstone beads or cabochons beautifully preserved through the intricate art of wire wrapping.
A Note on Nature’s Art: Because I use genuine beachcombing finds and semi-precious crystals and gemstone beads in my creations, no two pieces are ever entirely identical. Each one features its own unique internal fractures, colour variations, and natural birthmarks—just as nature intended.
