A fledgling illustrator with a passion for birds and nature

Hi, my name is Alice and after a career in teaching, I have decided to turn back to an earlier passion of mine; art! I find that the process of art, especially with my favourite medium of the dip pen and ink, helps my mental health and keeps me grounded. I am inspired by nature and birds in particular. I gained my love of birds from my maternal grandparents who were avid twitchers and whenever I draw a bird I always think of them. My parents named me very well as I am always spending time in wonderland and love fantasy and imagination!
