Hi pixies! I'm Sarah, a fashion designer and daydreamer currently living on the West coast of Scotland. I say currently as I have a tendency to move around a lot!! Born in Wales, grew up in England and have lived in numerous places over the years including Manchester and Brighton.

I've wanted to be a fashion designer since I was 7 years old. I would fill up old schools books with designs and cut up mum's fashion magazines to make mood boards. I would study costume books, watch The Clothes Show religiously and knew who Vivienne Westwood was by the age of 10.

I studied BA (Hons) Fashion Design at UCLAN, graduating in 2008 then moving to the South East for my first design job in London. I spent 3 years working for high street suppliers working on accounts for Topshop, Miss Selfridge, River Island etc.

After being made redundant during the recession and struggling to find any job, let alone a design job, I decided to create one for myself and start a clothing business. I have been running that business for five years now.

I have always had a very strong feminine, girly handwriting and recently felt that my other brand wasn't reflecting this so I decided to start Primrose & Pixie. After doing a lingerie course I felt that my style would lend it's self perfectly to lingerie and sleepwear.

I'm heavily influenced by all things magical and Gothic. I adore the work of designers like Alexander McQueen & Rodarte and illustrators like Arthur Rackham & Aubrey Beardsley. Nature is another big inspiration.

I'm also very conscious about the fabric I use, choosing premium and organic cottons and fabrics that don't use nasty chemicals.

We care passionately about the fabrics we use favouring organic fabric as much as possible and chemical free fabrics which have the Confidence in Textiles certificate.

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
