Reclaim wood and make it beautiful again

I stated iwoodupnorth a few years ago, i enjoyed making wooden pieces for family and friends and started to get asked to make items for others so iwoodupnorth was born a very happy accident, i converted my garage into a work shop and have slowly filled it with scrap wood that might just come in use one day, I like to find & reclaim wood and other bits for my items, i always have ideas of things i want to make but its the reclaimed wood that decides whats made from it, the ideas come after the materials are found,
Dont get me wrong i make items that are very similar to each other but one i find that beautiful piece of reclaimed wood that just shouts out at you then some amazing one offs come to life.
I dont have pets but a stray cat comes and watches me work most days and we have lunch together but he has rules that you cant touch him or be to close its nice to look up from whst your doing to see him sleeping nearby even with all the noise going on in the workshop.
