Hi, I'm Marilyn, Petal from PetalsPassions.
I'm bringing you a few sewing passions that I have created, I will see how they sell and hope to focus on one or two of the best sellers. I love making the quilted placemats and the buttons, very additive. The buttons are nice to make in the evenings, that's if my cat allows me!! yes I have a cat and his name is just PUSS, he was a rescue cat with a name of JASPER! Didn't suit him at all! but we never came up with another name so PUSS just stuck. He's a very affectionate and loving and never happier than when we are around with him and curled up on the blanket on the bed or course!! Perhaps I will upload a photo of him soon.
From early days to the present. From fashion course at college to 7 years at Eastex factory where I learnt a lot of factory sewing skills. Many years in Retail working a great deal in Haberdashery and fabrics. Worked in a Wedding Boutique which was a lovely experience, advice to brides and also carrying out alterations. 13 years at John Lewis. I have always sewn either at work or at home and am never without a needle or machine to hand. I am now retired and still going strong with the needles and machines. I have tried lots of crafts and always like to try something new. I hope you like my shop and I will be making items to suit you all.
