My Passions I would like to share with you

Hi, I'm Marilyn, Petal from PetalsPassions.
I'm bringing you a few sewing passions that I have created, I take my inspiration from things around me, but love to see how things evolve, perhaps starting with a few stitches and perhaps a button ,and go from there,as in my selection of collage items in my shop. I love hexagons and again my bags and collage involved hexagons. I love making the quilted placemats and the buttons which are very additive.

From early days to the present. From fashion course at college to 7 years at Eastex factory where I learnt a lot of factory sewing skills. Many years in Retail working a great deal in Haberdashery and fabrics. Worked in a Wedding Boutique which was a lovely experience, advice to brides and also carrying out alterations. 13 years at John Lewis. I have always sewn either at work or at home and am never without a needle or machine to hand. I am now retired and still going strong with the needles and machines. I have tried lots of crafts and always like to try something new. I hope you like my shop and I will be making items to suit you all.
