Paper Street Dolls create luxury paper decorations, designed, handmade, hand painted and stitched to order in our studio in Scotland. We are Glaswegian sisters Claire & Julie, graduating for the Glasgow School of Art with degrees in printed textiles and visual communication respectively.
We make our artisanal paper decorations with consideration and attention to detail. Creating increasingly elaborate Christmas decor since we were little, we decided it would be best to come up with a way to be elves for all seasons, to make and use paper decorations all year round. We are inspired by nature, pop-culture and colour and our items reflect this.
Sustainability is really important to us so we use environmentally friendly, biodegradable or recyclable materials that are as local to us as possible. This means we can create quality, lasting products that can be used over and over. All our paper is milled in the UK or France and we work to design items with as little waste as possible which we then put in packaging that is reusable and/or recyclable.
