Order before 3PM today for guaranteed delivery in time for Father's Day! Today all Father's Day cards purchased before 3PM will be shipped via Royal Mail Special Delivery which will arrive by 1PM on Saturday.

Lockdown measures and staffing shortages are resulting in many of my order taking at least twice as long to arrive. For UK destinations, please allow 5+ days for delivery (and 7+ for buyers in Scotland and Northern Ireland). Please allow 20+ days for orders to international destinations (USA/Canada/Australia/Europe etc) to arrive. But do get in touch if you have any concerns about your order!

We're O What A Feeling: Textile & Paper Goods Co., an art studio specialising in cheerful stationery and quirky surface pattern designs. Founded by Gillian Lake-Thompson in the spring of 2015, O What A Feeling now makes its home at The Yard Studios in Winchester, a shared artist studio. Our cards, notebooks, calendars and art prints are illustrated and hand-lettered in our Winchester studio and then digitally printed onto luxuriously thick FSC-certified paper at Sarsen Press, a local, independent print shop here in Winchester. Our greeting cards are all packaged in biodegradable sleeves.

Gillian graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textiles & Fashion from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (NSCAD) in Canada, followed by an MA in Textile Design at the Winchester School of Art in 2014. When not folding cards and running to the post office to post orders, she can be found doodling in her sketchbook, pulling weeds in her allotment, baking sourdough bagels, watering her 30+ houseplants, looking at dog videos on Instagram and learning how to rollerskate.

Buying from me

Working from a studio in the historic town of Winchester, our designs begin with pencil sketches, pen & ink drawings, & a splash of paint. Our greeting cards, handmade notebooks & prints feature our hand-lettered and illustrated designs and are printed locally at an small, family-owned print shop onto FSC-certified paper, and lovingly trimmed, scored, folded, bound & packaged in our studio.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.

Please contact me if your goods are faulty or have been damaged in the post and I will sort out a full refund or replacement. For all other refund requests, buyer is responsible for the cost of return postage and the the cost of the item (minus original postage) will be refunded. Goods must be securely packaged and arrive in resaleable condition for return to be be considered. Please contact me with any questions or concerns regarding your order.
