About Nature Inspired

Nature Inspired

'Nature Inspired' photography by Sussex based photographer and nature lover Natalie Banton.

I'm a photographer who is inspired by the beauty of nature and it's therapeutic qualities. I feel a deep connection with it, and love going out in the middle of nowhere, walking with camera in hand. Life in the 21st century can be so stressful (even more so in recent years) and spending time in nature is fantastic therapy. I struggle with my mental health, and find connecting with nature to be beneficial, along with the mindful practice of photography.

By sharing my photography, I hope to share those therapeutic qualities with others, as well as inspire people to get out more into nature, so they can enjoy the benefits first hand. I'm also passionate about nature conservation, I think it's essential for our well being that we reconnect with the natural world and look after it, so that it is there for us and future generations. We need nature and it needs us!

As well as my shop on Folksy, I also take part in exhibitions and craft fairs in Sussex, and have a blog where I write about my experiences of being out in nature with my camera.

My photography...

I currently take photographs with my Nikon D3200 and my iPhone, producing 16"x12" prints and smaller six inch prints to sell online and in person at art events. My favourite locations to photograph include the Ashdown Forest, the New Forest and Cornwall, although I'm always looking for new places to explore!

All my images are printed using good quality paper and inks, and are dispatched with care, so you can enjoy a little bit of nature on your wall. I hope you enjoy my photography and find it as therapeutic to look at as I do.
