Hello there
I am Carole I'm a mom of 2 and a grandma of 2. But only a wife to one dear handsome husband. I've always been stitch made and my finger are never not doing something with stitches. Be it Quilting or crochet which are my favourites, there's always a challenge round the corner.
I used to do a farmers market years ago, but I'm retired now and love the Folksy format to sell off my handmade home made stuff. We moved to Cornwall St Ives, for our retirement. This place is such an amazing inspiration. So anything you buy could quite happily been made on the beach or the coastal path, my needles go everywhere with me. I love nothing more than sitting watching the sea and stitching or crocheting.
I'll have a go at most things just for the fun of it. I have always been a greenie. Reclaim recycle and reuse. so try to reuse fabric and yarn whenever I can. . Nowadays it's easier there's all sorts of new recycled yarn and fabric.
My home which I like to call StitchSpot headquarters, is as eco friendly as i can make it. Also pet free. Most fabric is washed before I use it. I suppose I'm just old fashioned and like it pre shrunk. I will always tell you the type or yarn used too.
Take a look around and see if there is anything you fancy. This is how I fund my hobbies keep my brain going and hopefully please someone else in the process.
