Taking inspiration from nature and animals, I paint my originals from a small corner of my flat. I like to use my surroundings in Sussex to sometimes be the focus of my work, as well as other animals found in the UK and elsewhere.
I've been painting and drawing since I could remember and have a BA (hons) from Northbrook MET. I love to fill my evenings, weekends and whenever I can with creating art, also going on the odd stroll to find more subjects to paint.
I've taken part in some small exhibitions around West Sussex and it is always a joy to see people walk away, happy with one of pieces to brighten up their home.

I am delighted with my painting from MattyKedieArt - daisies are my favourite flowers! I have hung the painting in my dining room - the colours look absolutely stunning in natural light, even better than in the photo. My painting arrived really quickly too. I love the modern, bold style of this painting and the way the artist has also captured magic in a simple flower that we see everywhere and forget to appreciate.
