Beautiful, hand painted, quirky stuff.

My name is Matt Strong and i run and produce all the items for Wessex Hand painted, i have only recently started this venture as a way to share my passion for hand painting with others and help to make money for my family following my ME/CFS diagnosis which has made a regular day job impossible but still leaves me able to paint interesting and often unique pieces.

I work at the family home at our kitchen table in the lovely Market town of Devizes in Wiltshire, i produce a range of upcycled and new items in a unique style in both wood and ceramic including furniture, jewellery boxes and mugs.

Ours is a typical rumbustious family home with two junior school age children, two rescue cats and a rabbit.
