Hi, I am Marika, a ceramist in Northampton UK. I am originally from South Africa but I have lived in the UK for many years. I have always had an interest in ceramics but I only started Marika du Plessis Ceramics during lockdown at the start of the year.

I work predominantly with stoneware & terracotta clay & my work reflects my interest in beautiful homewares, flowers & delicate lace. I make platters, bowls, hanging decorations, angel & bunny figurines & there are always new products available in my Folksy store or on my Instagram page.

It brings me great joy & satisfaction to make personalised commissions & to see my customers fully enjoy their unique purchases.
