Founders Matt and Angela Walker have worked in the design industry for over 25 years and bring a modernity to traditional craftsmanship, designing and making in our Malvern workshop.
Inspired by simplicity, elegance and traditional craftsmanship, we utilise quality British materials, sustainably sourcing and treading as lightly as possible on the planet. Always striving to better ourselves with knowledge and understanding of our environment and processes which affect it.
We are a family run business situated at the foot of the Malvern Hills in England and surrounded by ancient woodlands and water ways that haven’t been touched for hundreds of years. We love and cherish our environment and wildlife. We don’t greenwash, this is just how we live and treat Maker & Wright as an extension of this. We are sustainable through the very nature of being resourceful and respectful. We understand the needs of modern lifestyle and want to give you something special, but we will work towards doing that with as little impact as possible. We are by no means claiming to be 100% environmentally friendly or sustainable, but we are pushing ourselves constantly to work towards it.
