Hand-cranked socks from the South coast of England

Hello!

I started knitting socks a few years ago and I just cannot stop! My most recent purchase was an Erlbacher Knitting Machine which has enabled me to free my time up to knit other projects. I am a self-taught spinner, haven't caught the weaving bug just yet but there is still time!
In my everyday life I am passionate about sustainability, animal welfare and the environment - so handmade socks are a natural progression from that. I could talk about the wonders of wool until the cows came home, but I won't!
I currently work in museums as a collections documentation officer so my knitting is generally fitted around my work schedule - and when my cats need feeding!!

I am always happy to answer questions so please feel free to pop me a message if you have any special requests, or if you've got a cute cat picture to show me :)

Buying from me

Hello! My name is Lauren and I make custom wool socks for all shapes and sizes. Choose the yarn you'd like the socks to be made from and select the size you require. If you have more specific requirements, choose the bespoke option and I will contact you to discuss any modifications you may need on the usual pattern. Items are on a 1 week lead time unless otherwise specified.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
