Light in Dark — Handmade Shamanic Drums

Hello, I’m the maker behind Light in Dark, based in Bristol.
My journey into this path began after a deep personal transformation — a time when life was stripped back to its essentials. Out of the flames, I found not only strength but ancient wisdom that has guided humanity for millennia.

As a Sundoor Firewalk Instructor and Shamanic Practitioner, I walk between worlds. I spent two years in the Scottish Highlands learning the essence of shamanism — soul retrieval, extraction healing, and the art of ceremony. But my greatest teacher has always been the fire itself.

Each handmade shamanic drum I create carries this story within it. From the buffalo hide to the willow frame, every step of the process is ceremonial. These drums are not just instruments; they are bridges — connecting you to spirit, rhythm, and your own transformation.

When I lead a firewalk, a sweat lodge, or a shamanic journey, I see how the same fire that once changed my life now awakens something sacred in others. That’s why I founded Light in Dark — to help people reconnect with their inner wisdom, their courage, and their own light within the dark.

And yes, when I’m not working with fire or making drums, you’ll find me in my Bristol workshop, surrounded by wood, hides, rhythm… and the occasional curious cat watching from the corner.
