We are a small business inspired by the natural environment that surrounds us here in the West of Scotland. You can out about us, our inspirations, blog and tutorials at www.kyloe.art.
We have always been creative, Adam being a respected landscape photographer. We have started this business to allow us work from home and tap into all that creativity.
Our name - Kyloe Creations - is inspired by our local herd of Highland cows that we meet each day on our walks. Scots mostly call them “Heilan coos”, but they are also known as kyloes (meaning highlands). These beautiful animals will no doubt feature a lot in our upcoming products!
We use a variety of techniques and materials, but central among them is laser cutting and engraving, which allows us to craft our designs from eco-friendly sustainable materials to a very high standard. Like many, we struggle with finding the balance between living a modern life while reducing our impact on the planet. We therefore avoid using plastics in our products or packaging where possible. We also reuse cardboard and paper in our packaging, while still achieving a beautiful customer experience.
