I'm just a kwirky knitter thinking outside of the box

Kwirky Knits happened by accident after a friend asked me to knit a head band, I posted a photo on Facebook & suddenly everyone wanted one & the orders were flooding in.

Kwirky Knits was opened at the start of 2015 & is growing faster than I ever could of hoped. I'm always bursting with new ideas & pattern designs & with just two hands & a pair needles I strive to create my items to the the highest quality. There are just not enough hours in the day to create all the ideas that are spilling from my brain.

I love knitted items, they are fun, unique & sometimes even 'kwirky' I want to stand out & be different. I don't want to stand in a queue in a department store with 3 other people in line purchasing the same item as me. Dare to be different & stand out from the crowd...it's fun.

I live on the South Coast of Devon, 10 miles from Plymouth, in a quirky old cottage I share with my hubby & crazy spaniel Jynx. I take my knitting inspiration from the1940's & 50's & gothic, boho & alternative fashion. I knit what I like & what I would wear myself, everything I make I hand knitted by me & some are even OOAK designs I've created myself.

I'm a little quirky, hence the name of my shop, but I like who I am & knit what I love.
