Handmade jewellery and accessories for you and your home

I'm Katie, i design and create jewellery, accessories and decorative items for the home.
I live and work from my home in Pinchbeck, Lincolnshire where i have a small "workshop" as i like to call it. A space where i can get lost in my own world of creativity.

I have always been creative, but started making jewellery about 15 years ago as a bit of a hobby. It started off making things with polymer clay, such as beads, pendants, etc. I went on to buy various glass beads and gemstones, findings and the tools to be able to create more jewellery, learning various techniques as i go, selling my creations to family and friends and making a bit more money to go and buy more supplies!!
Over the years i have continued to create various things, develop different skills and my creations have changed.

Now in my creations i mostly use wire and wool. When working with wire i use various wire work techniques, such as weaving, viking knitting, coiling, etc and i create a variety of jewellery, accessories and decorative items. When working with wool, i enjoy and use the craft of needle felting and have mostly used this craft to create decorative items for the home. I have made a few pieces of jewellery and intend to create more.
I also like to crochet, but those creations are mostly for me.

I am inspired by lots of things. It could be the colours or pattern in something i see, but mostly i get a lot of inspiration from the nature around me.
Often out on walks, i like to take pictures, mostly of flowers, leaves, trees, the odd squirrel too if i'm quick enough. Bees,birds and butterflies are also something i love to try and photograph, if they hang around long enough. It's all inspiration for possible creations.

As well as having a selection of trees available for sale i also make them to order. They can be personalised by choice of colour, adding charms, initials and names. I have made them for various occasions and they make such beautiful and unique gifts. Feel free to get in touch if this is something that interests you. I'd be happy to discuss it.
