Mother and Daughter knitting and crochet duo based in Yorkshire

We're a crafty mother and daughter duo, from a little town called Heckmondwike in West Yorkshire

It's Stace (Stacey) writing this, trying to give you more information about our background and love of crafting.

Kaz (Karen) is the mum. She's been knitting for over 50 years now after her grandma taught her when she was 10. She has always loved her craft, especially making baby items, and loves the appreciation for her items even more than she does the money side. When we (me and my two brothers) were younger, she had a stall at the local market selling her knitted cardigans and they were always popular. She knitted us Beatrix Potter toys, and I had a jumper with a My Little Pony on the front which I absolutely adored.

I'm the crocheter. I can knit and my mum tells me I'm good at it, but I much prefer crochet. I love bright colours and anything with rainbows on I'm sold! I also do other crafts such as jewellery making (I had some shops on Folksy selling jewellery and jewellery making supplies 10 years ago - hoping to resurrect that soon as well!) I've also been crocheting about 10 years now, and have been recently selling my blankets on Facebook and hoping to branch out to Folksy as well
