Since I was little, I've loved making all sorts of things. Embroidery - cross stitch - dressmaking - knitting - crochet - beading...and teaching others 'How to...'

Having completed 30 uninterrupted years of full-time teaching in primary schools, I took the plunge last year & went part-time, so I can start to turn my life-time passion for making things into a business.
So far, it's small steps - craft fairs and online selling of a few things. I'm also using my teaching skills by running local workshops - teaching how to crochet. It's great to help people develop their own skills.
The ambition is to eventually be a full-time crafter!
