I'm Julia, maker of crocheted creations: toys, decorations, amigurumi, clothing, handwoven scarves, jewellery, greetings cards and gifts, handmade in the UK.

My small business was born from my love of all things yarn and fibre related. Starting in my childhood, learning to crochet with the help of my grandmother, to more recently acquired skills such as spinning, dyeing and weaving my own woollen yarn. The process of taking a bag of raw wool or a ball of cotton yarn and creating a finished item continues to fascinate me, I'm always learning as I continue to grow my business.

I create my products mostly at home in Norfolk in my own little 'crochet cottage'. When the weather is nice, my vegetable garden provides the perfect outdoor space to sit and crochet my creations.

When it comes to crafting, crochet is my first love and crocheting with cotton yarn is my main focus but I also have a passion for most things yarn related, such as knitting and weaving. Hand dyeing and spinning wool into homemade yarn is also particularly interesting to me. I love using wool sourced from traditional British breeds of sheep. Weaving with my own handmade yarn on my handloom is very satisfying to me and produces items that are truly one of a kind.
