I've been sewing for as long as I can remember and turned my love of crafting into a business back in 2002. 2014 saw the birth of It Started With a Stitch and now as well as making my own items to sell I love to create designs and kits to help others learn to love crafting too!

I have a free Facebook group called The Craft Hub where you can watch over 11 video tutorials to help you learn and develop new skills!

As well as hand embroidery I also love crochet and pompoms!

I have a studio workshop in Grimsby so if you're ever in the area then drop me a line and I'll pop the kettle on!

Buying from me

Between us we create a range of handmade homewares, gift, jewellery and more. My main loves are fabric based crafts and I'm a sucker for a fabulous colour combo and a bit of sparkle. Ben is a Magpie of a maker and you'll find him printing, pressing, pouring amongst many other things.

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
