We have just launched our shower steamers which can be used in bath or shower actually and smell amazing! They are individually wrapped in a pretty box and make a lovely gift!
We have been making handmade cold process soap in small batches with 100% natural ingredients for nearly 20 years. All our products are safety assessed by an independent UK chemist and our expertise means you get a gentle product, kind to your skin with a luxurious lather. All soaps are cured for 4 weeks, are beautifully mild and are wrapped in recyclable paper. We also produce a range of organic lip balms, sublime whipped butters and drawing on our extensive knowledge of herbs we produce some wonderfully calming and soothing salves for troubled skin. Ginette has a diploma in herbal medicine and is always researching botanicals and their many uses. All our products are packaged in recyclable and sustainable material, planet kind - as nature intended.

All our products are handmade in small batches in West Devon.
All ingredients are sourced from the UK and where possible we use honey and beeswax from our own bees. We also infuse our own calendula oil too. My interest in gardening with herbs started 30 years ago, I studied aromatherapy and later went on to achieve a diploma in herbal medicine. I have always been passionate about natural healing and using natural products in skincare.
'Natural', 'vegan' and 'eco friendly' has become a bit of a bandwagon in recent years but it's a good path to be on and one that we at The Herbal Soapmaker have been on for 20 years!
All our products are safety assessed by a UK chemist and this is a legal requirement. All our products are made with natural ingredients and rather than list all the baddies we don't include, it's much easier to tell you that our products don't blind you with science, hide behind claims - just contain a simple list of effective natural oils, butters and natural colours.
