I had worked full time for many years and took early retirement a few years ago. With my new found time, I have been able to concentrate more on my passion for sewing and oil painting. My mother had been an expert at making clothes and I soon rediscovered the skills she taught me. Over the years I had made clothes and accessories for my children and myself and now I would like to share these with you also.
I am in heaven in a fabric shop and I find the joy of creating something handmade is very rewarding and relaxing, especially when I receive positive comments from people.
I prefer to work with modern or animal fabrics and ensure that there is a professional finish to all my handmades. I live with my husband who is also retired. I'm quite content to work at my sewing machine, whilst hubby prefers to fish.
