Bespoke Opal and Wood

What started off as a hobby sourcing gamble parcels directly from Australian miners, then practising the art of shaping and polishing Opal. Bringing out the best colours that I managed to obtain, I decided to integrate them into bespoke ethically sourced wooden pendants.

I wanted to make something beautiful but affordable. The pieces of opal i generally use are thin but still show alot of colour these are set in with epoxy resin.
The wood i have in storage has been drying for over 5 years.
When the piece is finished, i will leave for 6-12 months to check for shrinkage or crackage in the wood and opal.
