Unique, stylish hand painted glassware gifts and homeware

Hi there! My name is Nic Moore and I'm the proud owner of Dragonfly Art & Design. I'm based in Lincolnshire, and work from home in my little paint studio with by beautiful dogs laid at my feet.

I sell a large range of glassware items, from gin glasses, to wine glasses, champagne flutes for weddings and baubles for Christmas. My inspiration is widespread and comes from nature, holidays, my garden and the children I teach to paint during the holidays. I also have a range of wooden ducks with little painted socks, and I am always looking for new ideas and for new things to paint.

My business came from my hobby, which was inspired by a lovely shaped coffee jar which was far too pretty to throw away. I went along to my local craft shop and purchased two outliner pens, and painted my pot with little flowers made from dots all around the glass. I still have the jar to this day. From there I used on line how to guides to teach myself the intricacies of glass painting, and little by little learned the skills I use to teach others today.

An unexpected change to my high pressure job made me reevaluate my career three years ago and I have been glass painting alongside running our Interim Management business with my lovely husband ever since.

As my items are hand painted, they are all unique, I would explain them as gently bohemian in style. I'm proud that my customers regularly return to me and collect my work for themselves and their friends.

I recycle all of my packaging and only use new where necessary, and I deliver all over the world.

My glassware is baked in the oven for paint durability and will not wash off. I use a mixture of glass paints and acrylic paints in my work. I hope that you will love my items just as much as I do!
