I have always loved painting and the beautiful British countryside.
I have made many different things in my life and 4 years ago I discovered the reverse glass painting technique and fell in love with it.
The glass is painted black and then etched out and colours are added behind the black image. When it is turned over the glass is smooth on the front and the finished piece can be used as a suncatcher, window panel or as a painting when hung on a wall. Its a very different effect when used as a wallhanging but both ways are equally pleasing.
I show the different uses in my photographs.
I also make mirrors using the same technique.
I have a small jewellery section, inspired by the colours of nature and I add to my shop all the time with new one off pieces.
I work from my little studio space in a small village in Herefordshire, England, but I am fortunate to be able to see the majestic Brecon Beacons in the distance spreading out into beautiful Wales.
