I throw texture, emotions, colour onto a black space and empty my head.

My name is Dan, I just set up my shop here on FOLKSY recommended by a friend.

The name S T E L L A E means stars in latin. I love to stare and get lost in them, go somewhere else. The universe is a pretty big space and whats out there fascinates me.

My main focus is painting right now but i also have an interest in illustration and photography, I am inspired by People, Places, Patterns, Colour, Interior Design and Texture.

I went to college to do a foundation degree in art and design which opened me up to a lot of mediums and inspired me to experiment. I then went on to gain a BTEC Award in Visual Art and to study a full degree in Illustration.

Since graduating i am working full time and balance between work and being creative. Now focusing on painting which is something i haven't had much of a chance to do much of but since ive recently been going through a lot i am using it as a form of therapy and really enjoying what im creating.
