I live in Northumberland and work as a pyrography artist for my small business, Charred Wood. I studied graphic design and illustration at college and recently went back to illustrating when my wife wrote a series of children’s books. That has reignited my interest in the medium and I’ve now got a portfolio on our website, www.asterabooks.com with lots of illustrations taken from the books and a few new ones that showcase my varied interests! We have a young family, a cat and a dog and live near Berwick-upon-Tweed in north Northumberland.
