Happiness is being able to create with your hands what you dream in your mind xxx

Hello lovely people. I am inspired by nature and creation. This can be anything from baking to drawing and crochet to needle felting, and many more in between. Writing for children has been on the cards for about 25 years and now I've actually succeeded.
I also love to draw animals so the pet portraits seemed a natural progression.
I'm married with a teenage son and currently hoping that my creative ventures will be my full time job, fingers crossed! I have been selling crochet toys locally for about 5 years now, which I love making. Getting lost in the pattern and not thinking of anything else is so relaxing.
I have two lovely cats, Toby and Summer. They were shot with an air rifle about 9 years ago but luckily survived. Toby lost one eye and Summer has a pellet in her chest but they don't let it stop them! But that's another story.
