My work is very seasonally led.
I've been growing willow here on our little smallholding since 2006 and now grow about 10 varieties. In spring I sow seeds to give me armfuls of cut flowers in the summer and autumn months which I sell on my little farm stand.
Calling on my 30 plus years teaching experience I offer a range of in person workshops, here on the smallholding, creating beautiful and useful items in willow and cut flowers.
Early autumn sees me knee deep in willow wreaths and other items as I work frantically to fulfill wholesale orders ready for the Christmas season and by mid November, foliage fills the workshop as wreathmaking and Christmas arrangements are the order of the day.
When the weather keeps me inside I am a keen knitter and passionate supporter of British wools direct from the farms.
