Unique silver and copper jewellery made with joy.

Hi! I am Raluca, a Romanian designer currently based in London. I've also lived for 5 years in Warsaw, Poland, before moving to the UK due to my partner's job.
I design and hand make silver and copper jewellery in my small studio at home, using traditional silversmithing techniques.
I am also a graphic designer, a photographer and I love drawing, painting, playing the guitar and singing. I used to played in a band back in Romania and still do whenever I get the chance. I love nature and everything nature and life related.
My university training is in Foreign languages and literatures and I have a Masters Degree in Cultural Policies in the E.U. But for most of my life I worked in media advertising agencies, until I decided to start freelancing. First in Graphic Design and then starting my jewellery making small business.
So - as you can easily see - I love pretty much everything that is art related. :)
And I consider jewellery making a form of art in itself.
My inspiration derives from all things around us - the universe in itself, at a big or small scale, nature, trees, stones, metals, all things have patterns, shapes, movements that are common and you can find and recognise them everywhere you look. There's nothing new under the sun, but we can create beautiful things by reinterpreting in our own manner what we see and love around us, adding our own touch to the beauty of the world, as little as we can.
Anyone can do it. If you allow yourself the moment.
Silver and copper and colourful stones have been with us since the dawn of humanity. Giving these raw materials new life in a unique piece of jewellery is just the beginning of the journey. The rest of their story will be written by you. May it be a beautiful and happy one.
