Shop Announcement:

Hello and welcome to my shop! I make creative and unique bead jewellery using a combination of pre loved, vintage and new beads. I love seeking out beads to re-purpose into a fresh new design to be loved all over again! I hope you enjoy browsing my shop and find something to spark joy!

All findings are nickel free, usually stainless steel, sometimes silver or gold plated.
I use the highest quality coated steel beading wire in all of my jewellery.

Items are packaged in a red cardboard gift box as standard and posted in a letterbox friendly sturdy box.

About Betty's Jewellery Lab

Betty's Jewellery Lab

Salvaging preloved beads and conjuring up something new!

I'm Sue, the maker behind Betty's Jewellery Lab.

I have always been a maker of one kind or another, ever since I made a wardrobe of clothes for my sister's favourite doll when I was eight years old! I love fashion and style and making jewellery is an extension of that, and how I channel my creativity.

I aim to use preloved and vintage beads as much as possible, and combine them with glass seed beads and other new beads to create something eye-catching and unique. I have always had a love of vintage style and colour and this shows in the jewellery I create. I also love art, painting and sculpture which feeds into my work, in particular my love of colour.

I live In London where I create my jewellery whilst listening to the radio and occasionally looking out at my back garden, watching the squirrels and foxes! Being 'in the zone' playing with and combining beads is one of my happy places! :-)
