It all started when I was just a little girl back in New Zealand where I grew up. My sister and I were foraging for shellfish on a local beach when we heard a cry. Being young and curious we followed the cry and found a little penguin with its foot caught in a fishing line. We cut the poor thing free and it waddled off happily to the ocean. Since then I have always had a special spot in my heart for penguins. It made sense to me that when I found my passion for crafting candles that I link it back to penguins and make sure all my products are a sustainable gift.

Our beautiful hand poured soy candles are all meticulously decorated to reflect their unique scent. Each candle has a radiant and powerful scent throw to help infuse any room with a gorgeous aroma. Our family run craft shop prides itself on creating unique, high quality gifts to enhance the home and bring a smile to all those who receive them.
At Gentoo, we take extra measures to make sure we use high quality, sustainable and vegan ingredients.

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
