Hi, I'm Claire! I'm an illustrator/artist/designer living in Brighton with my husband and our little boy.
I started Batty Blossoms in 2020 when I was furloughed from my part-time designer job. I started out with just a few prints and over the years this has grown into a shop with hundreds of products including stickers, cards, bookmarks, pins, keyrings, button badges, zip pouches, tote bags and seasonal decorations!
I sell online mostly through my own website and also do regular market stalls all over Brighton and the surrounding area (if you're local, you may have seen me trading at Brighton Open Market!)
My work is inspired by nature, folklore and JAPAN. I adore Japan - I love travelling and Japan just absolutely stole my heart. I've had the pleasure of visiting twice, once in 2015 and again in 2017 and I'm desperate to return. But for now, I try to bring a little bit of that magic into the art I create to share with others.
