Back in 1997, I became interested with candles regularly visiting local markets.
In 2004 I was introduced to Yankee Candles which turned into an obsession.
I used to purchase lots of Yankee Candles in the UK and regularly travelled to the US to bring back exclusive candles. This then grew into other brands including Kringle Candles and many others.
When I was in his 30’s I realised that my sense of smell was changing and that I was more interested in higher end fragrances and more natural candles rather than the typical petroleum based candles.
In 2017, I started experimenting making my own candles in my garage in the UK, constantly perfecting the products such as working on developing fragrances, choosing the best wicks and glass containers, and perfecting the natural plant wax blend.
2 years later the Barrie Candle Company was launched where I bring my special hand poured candles to market. Also Candle Warmers are available for customers that do not like to light candles. They heat our candles and produce no flame, no soot, and provide a cleaner burn.
The candles are made in the UK and contain essential oils and high quality perfume oils. They are eco-friendly, vegan friendly, and additive free.
I have worked hard to ensure there are no harmful toxins and they are made from a natural plant wax, in recycled glass, with cotton wicks.
