Drawing on over 50 years experience in the fields of arts, my husband and I have set up Mandala Arts to promote a more ethical, caring lifestyle. As part of our mission to help improve the well being of the planet, I design and make lots of hand made items, many made from recycled materials. I love the concept of a slower, more caring lifestyle, where we carefully consider what, when and how we consume the worlds resources, and live a more ethical lifestyle. I love the challenge of making art and craft from scrap and recycled materials, and encouraging others to learn skills to create their own. I work from home, based in a little market town near Stratford upon Avon in Warwickshire, and sell my crafts locally at various events and on line. I especially love crochet so lots of my creations are crocheted, including items made from t-shirt yarn, and twine. Many of these items are baskets, rugs and bags, and I am always looking for new ideas to create new designs.
