As a qualified teacher I have always enjoyed being creative which is an essential part of my day job. With my two cats, I started crocheting just before lockdown and opened a community knit and natter group making postbox toppers - although Tilly and Lulu tend to just watch rather than get on the hooks themselves. After a head injury and a diagnosis of endometriosis and adenomyosis, I started crafting even more as a way to relax. Beginning by selling wreaths at local events, I have spent the last year seeing what works and what doesn't, spurred on by my local community of makers. The jump to Folksy is another step towards spreading woolly pieces of art, be those wreaths, flowers or amigurumi gifts, around the world.
