Buying from me
This is a handwritten, hand-drawn and handbound edition of my notebook on folklore and legends of Cumbria, UK. It includes boggles (ghosts), lonnings (lanes), holy wells, corpse roads, postman's paths, fairy legends, and much more. It includes such delights as Ticklebelly Alley (in Eskdale), the Witches' resting stone at St Bees, the Fairy Drinking Well at Ambleside and even a recipe for Cumberland Bridal Cake. I turned the rough notes I make while walking the fells into this handbound notebook during lockdown. It is printed on quality paper from the James Cropper Paper Mill in Cumbria. The book is hardback, cloth bound with endtape and bookmark. There is a dustjacket. The book is slightly smaller than A5 and has 78 pages.
