Buying from me
I have knit from a very young age but only picked up the needles again recently. I have been surprised at how hard it is to find 100% wool locally. My 1 and only wool shop in the area sells mostly Acrylic or Acrylic mix with only about 10% of its stock being 100% wool. Most items that are sold as "wool" are in fact Acrylic or a mix of Acrylic and Wool. If you check the description of the materials used it should become clear how many "woolen" items are nothing of the sort. Acrylic is plastic and as such is extremely harmful to the environment as it is not bio-degradable. Wool is a more expensive product to use but I am determined to avoid the wolf dressed in sheep's clothing.
I am happy to receive requests for different sizes and/or colours - (as long as my wool shop doesn't let me down).
