Hi! We are the Wolvers family welcome to our Folksy Store. We’ve always loved all things handmade and artsy especially when being creative reflects on the natural world around us. We’ve spent our lives living across the heart of England and the tropics of Asia, all our pieces are a reflection of some element of our adventures. We hope our pieces bring as much joy into your homes as we had making them! The wood we use is reclaimed as much as is practical.. For the glass we use System96 glass unless stated otherwise, our kiln is made just down the road in Stockton Brook by Kilncare who make the best craft and industrial kilns and this allows use to achieve consistent temperatures and profiles. Ian has a background in colour and chemistry and loves to experiment with adding chemicals and metals to glass to achieve novel effects, Alex has the eye for more useful things so between us we reckon we cover most bases.
