...it just makes scents.

I came up with idea and started developing Wick'd Scent in that boring weird time between Christmas and New Year in 2017. I had no idea what to do, how to go about it or how to even make a candle. After a few months of research, applying relentlessly for small business grants and looking for support I was finally given a break and began developing my business plan.

I knew I wanted Wick'd Scent to be as environmentally friendly and kind as possible. It was very important to me to try my best to not be contributing to the horrible eco-crisis that we are currently having. I spent a lot of time researching various different types of plastics, how to recycle them, alternatives, in depth packaging testing and customer research. I finally found biodegradable plastic and plastic containers that could be popped in the recyling bin. The glass jars were a given with recycling and reusing.

After packing research I moved onto an extremely intensive testing phase using only vegan and cruelty free supplies and trying out various suppliers to find the best, stongest and long lasting supplies from the best suppliers that share the same views as me.

Finally Wick'd Scent was launched on May 2nd 2018. Today we're selling via Etsy, our website, facebook and at some markets and craft fairs.
