Hand embroidery, lots of lavender & fabric animals, dolls & angels

I live in my childhood home in a tiny East Yorkshire hamlet having returned after over 40 years in various parts of this country & abroad. I can't remember a time when I couldn't embroider, knit, sew or crochet & have periodically dabbled in other craft work too. I've been selling my work seriously for over 20 years, trading at craft shows, agricultural shows, game fairs etc countrywide although I've concentrated on more local events & markets in the last 5 years or so, I'm getting too old for dashing around the country!
I'm lucky to live in a fairly isolated location, lots of lovely wildlife & a large garden for inspiration, not forgetting a gorgeous chocolate dachshund, 2 cats, a guinea pig, a cousin living & working with me plus a brother next door for the heavy jobs....

Buying from me

Everything is handmade, most items contain Yorkshire lavender, all embroidery is hand worked using either stranded cotton or pure silk. I use good quality fabrics, dupion silk, linen & 100%cotton some of which is Liberty fabric. I make a wide range of finished items from embroidered greetings cards & lavender bags to stuffed animals & art dolls. Some practical & some simply pretty

Returns Policy

You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Please note: Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken.
