New purpose to charity shop Unluvables

Hi I am a 60 year old retired pub land lord, I have been unemployed for the last two years as it appears no one wants to employ an old Publican. So last year I bought a sewing machine and set about teaching my self how to sew. ( yes all my friends think I'm mad to) As I was short of cash I started buying my fabric from the local Charity shops and the habit of re-cycling and up-cycling was born. I started making the ugly little critters you can see in my picture. These are the unluvables , they are door stops , bookend and some of them are tablet rests . I have found that people like to choose an Unluvable and name them . They all have a patch of Gold on them some where , because they all have a heart of gold. I work from home with the modern sewing machine I first bought and a 90 year old Singer heavy weight I use for the Denim. I would have liked to keep all my creation but alas I have run out of space and money so they have to find new homes.
