I am a Brighton based artist that paints large Japanese canvas style hangings. My work has been heavily influenced by dance, movement, martial arts, meditation, music, sacred geometry and the cosmos. The energy the body creates when moving and interacting with space and using the brush as an extension of my own energy. I had numerous exhibitions over the years and now also make unique handmade books. I use 140gr all-media Seawhite cartridge paper, acid free & sized for strength. I print a few of my images with quotes which are scattered around in the book. I stitch all the pages by hand and bind the books myself. The covers are made with reclaimed suede leather, canvas, fabric or stencilled with my artwork. At the moment the original artworks our different types of angels and angel wings apart from the hearts. You can draw, paint, write or use them as a diary. Each book is an original one-off a kind and on the left hand corner when you open the book you will see I have written a title, numbered each one and signed it.
