I rekindled my love for sewing during lockdown. Both my aunt and mother were good dressmakers so perhaps it’s in the genes. By watching several tutorials on YouTube and Facebook I gradually found the types of bags I enjoyed making the most. ( Boxy Makeup Bags, iPad Cases, Kiddies’ Swim/PE Bags, Phone/Glasses Cases and AirPod cases)
My sewing station is in my conservatory so as it gets quite hot in there during the summer, I’m usually at my machine by 7am! My cocker spaniel, Millie, keeps me company.
I’m a bit addicted to fabric buying - always on the lookout for a fabric store if we visit a new town.
