Hello my name is Mat,

My enthusiasm for making wildlife products first started with bird boxes. I enjoy the process of taking reclaimed and seemingly useless materials, then turning them into something that looks great in the garden and helps the environment at the same time.

My father was a carpenter and so I grew up surrounded by the wood crafting environment. I guess my interest started as a boy.

All of my items are handcrafted with affection, each being a little different from the last .

I currently work from small outbuildings at my family home that I share with my partner, Lucie and our three children Fenn, Eden and Ava.

The crafting has found it’s place alongside my passion for gardening and nature!

I’m happy to take commissions if you’d like something different that you can’t find in the shop.
